Here are herbs and spices with some methods to create seasoning for meats and vegetables.
Any Seasoning
Seasoning Method
Base of; Margarine, Speadable or Melted Butter, Olive Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vegetable Oil or Sunflower Oil.
Taste of; Spices, Herbs or Sweets of Fruit and Worldly Resources.
Blend together in a Mixing Bowl with a Wooden Spoon.
Add foods to the seasoning and stir occasionally, allowing release of flavour from the dried state.
Plain Meat
Leave meat in seasoning and turn occasionally to develop flavour results when cooked.
Cutting skin of a whole chicken then season the underneath and ontop ready for the oven.
Blitz any meat and blend with seasoning, shape and cook under a grill or fry.
Add extra seasoning during the cooking process for more intense flavour results.
Plain Vegetables
Put the kettle on and cut skin off the vegetables.
Boil the vegetables in a sauce pan until beginning to soften, remove from the water and drain dry.
Add in the seasoning and allow time to soak.
Put in a hot oven and enjoy unique, tasty and crisp roast vegetables.
